Unprepared Dog-owners

Last Wednesday night, our dog, Pia, gave birth to 7 puppies!!!

Yes, we were kind of unprepared! Good thing, nothing bad happened to Pia and the puppies!

At 11-ish pm, there was already this one puppy bulging out of Pia’s… you know. We were panicking, we didn’t know what to do, so I searched instructions online. Apparently, we just have to leave the dog alone in a dark area (of it’s choice) where it feels comfortable and safe; so we turned the lights off and waited. After a few minutes, the first one came out! Surprisingly, it wasn’t the one that was already bulging out, it was another puppy na nag-overtake! Thus, we named it Rusher. There. Hehe

Before Pia gave birth we had three names ready (although, we still didn’t use them :)) ), because we thought Pia wouldn’t give birth to so many puppies. On the night she gave birth, which lasted 5 hours, we were surprised that four more puppies came out!!! Obviously, we lack four names.

So, we now have 7 puppies; 5 boys and 2 girls and they are all healthy! After naming the first one Rusher, we thought we’d name the other three in reference to RX TMR’s hosts (Chico, Delamar and Gino) but we thought it might offend them (as if naman malalaman nila haha) so we opted not to (sana, we’d name the 2 girls ChiChi and DeeDee and since there are only 2 girls we can’t name another puppy GiGi because it’s a girls name, so we thought of Nono, hehe).

Now, we have Rusher, Sachi, Bash, Sancho, Mochi, Patch & Nax.

BTW, the name Nax was suggested by my batchmates for some special/funny reason. :))
